Thor grabbed a whopping $66 Mil at the box office leading the way opening weekend. Thor has already received a warm welcome internationally with an earnings of $133 million over 2 weeks thus far.
The film opened in 3,955 theaters, with 213 of those being IMAX enabled. The average gross was $16,800 per theater with $6.6 million (10%) coming from IMAX.
Including international sales, the total thus far is $242 million. Thor had an estmimated production budget of $150.
