Loki is been rumored to be the lead villain for the 2012 Avengers film employing the assistance of the Skrulls. Tom Hiddleston will reprise his roll as Loki, the God of Mischief. Apparently, Loki will have hold of the “Cosmic Cube” and invokes the assistance of the Skrull race in his attempt at world domination.
While Hiddleston did meet with Avengers director Joss Whedon, he made no comment regarding the rumors stating, “I met him actually, I met Joss in passing when we were shooting Thor but I honestly don’t know what his plans are. He’s got a full plate I’m sure, he doesn’t want to talk to me.”"
